The Zodiac Signs

The zodiac is a belt of the heavens divided into twelve equal divisions, each named after the constellation that appears in that segment.
The twelve zodiac signs are Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, and Pisces.
Each sign spans 30 degrees of celestial longitude and corresponds to specific dates of the year, although these dates can slightly vary depending on the year.
Each zodiac sign is associated with particular personality traits, strengths, weaknesses, and preferences. For example, Aries, the first sign,
is known for being energetic, courageous, and assertive, while Taurus, the second sign, is known for being reliable, patient, and practical.
People often identify strongly with their sun sign, which is the sign the sun was in at the time of their birth.
In addition to the sun sign, astrology considers the influence of the moon sign and the rising sign (ascendant). The moon sign represents a person's emotional nature,
subconscious, and instincts. The rising sign reflects how others perceive a person and their outward behavior. Together, these three signs provide a more comprehensive
understanding of an individual's astrological profile.
